La serie de capacitación, Módulo 100: Prácticas de respuesta al trauma y desarrollo de la resiliencia, está diseñada para apoyar a educadores y proveedores de servicios de educación infantil que trabajan con niños de 3 a 8 años en diversos entornos, o en organizaciones que apoyan a los niños pequeños y sus familias.

Debido al contexto del tema, puede que sea desencadenante para algunas personas durante la capacitación. Les recomendamos venir preparados con estrategias que les ayuden a sentirse seguros y tranquilos.

Los participantes deben asistir a las tres sesiones para recibir el crédito por esta serie.

CLASS Pre-K 2nd Edition Observer 3-part Training

In this 3-part training, participants will:

  • Learn how to build an in-depth understanding of CLASS methodology
  • How to prepare to reliably asses teaching quality by focusing on the interaction's teachers have with their students
  • Feel prepared to take the reliability exam to become certified observers
Please note that this training is intended for CSPP agencies in Region C to meet MB 23-10 requirements. Region C includes 10 California counties: Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Tulare, and Ventura. Thank you for your cooperation.

ASPIRE funds are used to pay all associated participant fees for this Observer training ($900 value). Attendees must commit to attempting to pass certification testing within a 60-day window.

If you are unable to attend all sessions of a CLASS series: 

  • You may keep the provided materials and register for another offering of this event. Once registered, you must attend all parts of the offering (even if you have previously completed a portion of the training).
  • If you opt not to register for another offering, all materials must be returned to the ASPIRE Region C lead at sender's expense.

Leaders cannot be effective if they work in programs, organizations and systems that are stress-inducing. To be truly effective in supporting staff, children and their families impacted by toxic and traumatic stress to heal and build resilience, the entire field—programs, infrastructure organizations that support the workforce, children and families and leaders working at local, regional and state levels in systems building efforts need to become trauma-sensitive, trauma-informed and healing engaged. 

This training will guide participants in learning how they can start right away to create healthier environments in programs, organizations and systems that support children and adults, especially those whose lives have been impacted by toxic stress.

This training will be based on the book: Trauma-Responsive Practices for Early Childhood Leaders. Creating and Sustaining Healing Engaged Organizations
