To be truly effective in supporting staff, children and their families impacted by toxic and traumatic stress to heal and build resilience, the entire field—programs, infrastructure organizations that support the workforce, children and families and leaders working at local, regional and state levels in systems building efforts need to become trauma-sensitive, trauma-informed and healing engaged. Each district or agency is encouraged to bring teams comprised of teachers, administrators, support staff, etc., who are interested in or are already implementing inclusion.
