The VCOE Career Education Center is excited to announce a new Applied Manufacturing course to prepare Ventura County adults for high paying jobs in computer-aided metalworking. Students will learn on the latest high-tech equipment while earning National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) credential credits.
Learn CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machining, 3D Modeling, CAD/CAM, and basic metalworking skills while earning an industry certificate. The course is taught in a newly-created lab loaded with a Haas CNC Metalworking Mill, Computer Controlled Wood Routers, Airwolf 3D Printer, 12 computers with Autodesk software, and more (click here for photos of the lab).
