Naloxone

If an opioid overdose is suspected, the first thing to do is immediately call 911. 

Following are the steps for LEAs that are considering obtaining naloxone:

  • Update/adopt board policy and administrative regulation
  • Train staff
  • Create the LEA and school site level protocols for naloxone availability including who, what, when, and where
