Con la llegada del fin de verano, el regreso a la escuela puede ser un momento difícil tanto para los estudiantes como para sus familias. Acompáñenos en este taller diseñado para equipar a los padres y tutores con las técnicas, estrategias y apoyos necesarios para garantizar un regreso a la escuela fluido y exitoso. (2 Day Event) 07/07/2026 - 07/09/2026Come learn more about the DRDP (2025) assessment tool that is designed for educators to observe, document, and reflect on children’s learning and development as well as plan individualized and group curriculum.This virtual training is offered to general education ECE educators who are interested in learning about the format of the DRDP, use of documentation and evidence to rate measures, and the importance of inter-rater reliability.**Please note: This training does not meet requirements for Special Education educators. Special education educators must complete training via online DR access.

Come join Mike Liston (Drum Bus) and Chris Ridge (VCOE) for a fun-filled, end of year drum circle to re-energize and re-connect you back to the work of drum circles. This training is designed to re-enforce your prior training or to introduce you to drum circles if you have not yet had training.

True Biliteracy requires more than just exposure; it requires intentional engineering of language opportunities. This session focuses on the "how" of integrating oracy into your daily literacy instruction. We will dissect the relationship between speaking and writing, examining how structured oral practice acts as a rehearsal for academic writing. Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with peers to draft specific language structures—including vocabulary strategies, syntax scaffolds, and discourse collaborative structures—that elevate student output from simple sentences to complex academic arguments.
